EJR Aqua Services is a newly founded company by Edwin Gerber. Edwin Gerber and the team have an average of 14 years’ experience in the pump testing and hydrogeological services field. Edwin and his team started with borehole pump testing and investigation at the Kolomela Mine site (previously Sishen South Project) in Postmasburg in June 2007 until May 2017.

Work were done on the previously privately-owned farms and later on the Mine’s premises. The team also conducted high yield borehole testing at Sishen mine as well as low yield testing on the farms surrounding Sishen Mine and Kathu town.

The borehole testing consists of low yield and high yield pump testing, borehole camera investigation and EC profiling, borehole straightness tests, plugging of boreholes and packer tests.The team was also involved in the testing of boreholes for the artificial recharge projects. Other services rendered included borehole monitoring with electronic data loggers, slug tests with electronic data monitoring and capture, tracer tests with fluorescein or salt (NaCl). EJR Aqua Services commit themselves to continue with the same quality of work and expertise as that were done in the past. Other expert services offered by EJR Aqua Services include windmill repairs and maintenance as well as submersible pump installation-, repairs and maintenance.

EJR Aqua Services are currently involved in similar projects at Vedanta’s Gamsberg and Black Mountain mines and monitoring network at Assmang’s Beeshoek Mine. Pump testing project for Kathu municipality in Kathu are also in progress under management of GHT Consultants. We are also busy with pump testing work for Anglo American’s Sishen and Kolomela mines.
